North Anclote Nature Park

North Anclote River Nature Park

The North Anclote River Nature Park property was purchased in 1996 with the assistance of a major grant from the Florida Communities Trust. It is located in the City of Tarpon Springs, approximately half a mile south of the Pinellas/Pasco County Border. The site’s southern boundary is formed by the Anclote River. This 77-acre scenic park features a fishing pier and observation deck overlooking the Anclote River. There are two playground facilities and miles of nature trails suitable for off road biking or hiking with an extension loop tying into the Pinellas Trail which was an abandoned railroad corridor.
